Chicago is the first time this summer has felt like summer. It was hot and sticky, and a breeze has never before felt like a such godsend.
We took a long trip along the river and out onto the lake, gazing up and watching the sky slowly change colors. By the time we made it out on the lake, the skyline was lined with the moodiest clouds swirling behind the red sunset. Beautiful in its own formidable way.
beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAhh Chicago is such a beautiful city! I was there during August one year though, and I don't think I've ever felt so hot and sticky in my whole life!

Ooo, I've been itching to go to Chicago for a while.now! Have never been there and keep heating about neat places, events, and museums to visit there. I think waiting for the fall might be a little bit more fun, though... :) (I think I'm the only person out there who's actually excites about summer coming to a close, haha)
