Just reminiscing about our
road trip a few weeks ago. All of these photos are from Oregon-- except the last two. We truly had the weirdest weather. It rained almost the entire way up through Oregon, it hardly ever rained in Seattle, and then it felt like a torrential downpour on the way back down through Oregon. We drove through "severe weather warning" roads down to Ashland, and then through more snow heading into California.
Despite all of our crazy weather-- I really enjoyed the drive. I think I might even have enjoyed it a little extra because of the weather (when I didn't feel like I was about to die). Oregon is such a beautiful state to drive through. Days of driving can get tiring, but when you're in good company, it's not so bad.
Went up to Oregon years ago when 2 of my kids were in their teens.. It is beautiful up there..Couldn't get use to them not allowing us to pump our own gas!. Ashland was my favorite place.
