I've always felt the perfect mix of awe, overwhelming and excitement whenever I'm in libraries. Especially big ones. Or ones in Europe. Or big ones in Europe. Even though tomorrow is only my second day of classes, I'm already tired of reading because I'm obligated to.* I can't wait for the day that I can go into a library and pick whatever I want to read because I have time and energy for pleasure-reading. It's going to be glorious.

*Welcome to my life as an English and Classics double major.

    I love the second photo!. I love libraries because its one place u can count on that is quiet.. I like finding an aisle where no one is at and just sit there and read for hours!.

    libraries are pretty awesome! i just hate that ours is closed on sunday which is the perfect time to go! great pictures!

    i love libraries. your pictures reinforce my love of them. is it me, or is there something romantic about being surrounded by millions of leather and binding - bound pages that each tell a story.. it's stunning. <3

    the smell, look and atmosphere of libraries always draw me in...and it never ceases to amaze me that each one has so many things in common but are still so different in their charm :)

    I love libraries too! I'm currently in the middle of Jane Eyre, hoping to finish it before classes start tomorrow. Such a good read! Do you have a favorite book?

    Jane Eyre is one of my favorites! As for an absolute favorite... it's really hard to decide. Probably The Great Gatsby or Pride and Prejudice :)

    I sometimes feel silly to have that same feelings you described for libraries... I guess it's something not everyone can understand. But I don't like to go there because I have to, but I guess this is life for an undergraduate.

    I took this picture a few weeks ago, when I was all day at the library studying for my final exams. I hope you like it.
