an evening stroll in portland

a walk downtown
We arrived in Portland late Monday afternoon and went to the room we rented through AirBnB in the Hawthorne district. We walked downtown, passing many houses with holiday lights, and had delicious, affordable food at Rice Junkies. Hawthorne is pretty much a bigger, longer Haight Street-- which I don't mind at all. So many vintage shops and cute stores. We walked back to the little apartment before heading to the Laurelhurst theater for a $3 showing of Easy A. Our room hosts, Jack and Elizabeth were super nice and they had a cute, little black cat named Cubby. We love Portland.
