On Sunday I went to tea with a lot of the women in David's family (his mom, grandmother, sister and two aunts) and it was so perfect. Most people who've been reading my blog for a while have seen me obsess over tea parties (here and here and here) and Sunday just reinforced my love for all things tea-related.

Lovejoy's Tea Room in San Francisco is the cutest little nook you'd ever imagine. All of the teapots, cups and saucers are mismatched. Lace table clothes on every table. Antiques everywhere to decorate the tea room. And, to top everything off, everything they have is delicious. Your own, bottomless pot of tea, the tiny perfect sandwiches, and the scones. And let me tell you, I have missed scones.

I can't wait to go back.. or at least try to recreate the place in my own apartment!

    tea rooms always have the best foods. I remember one time at this little tea room in oklahoma i had the best mushroom scone. so good...

    oh my when i went to san fran a few years ago i about died when i found the cutest little place for tea. it may or may not be the one you're at i don't remember the name of it. even better than the place itself was the table of adorable old ladies dolled up in fancy clothes & hats. i wanted to join them so bad. and now i officially want my own tea party.

    oh man, the little girl inside me is desperate to have a tea party there! as long as everyone dresses up in pretty dresses... and stuffed animals would be welcome too. :)

    that is just the cutest!! i wish i knew of fun little tea rooms here in dallas...maybe i should just start my own little tea parties at home, i mean i just DIE over the cute little sandwiches ;)
