i can truthfully say that after being abroad for so long, sushi was in my top 3 things to eat once i got back. for some reason, it took a little more than 2 weeks before i got to eat any, but when i finally did... it was amazing. our friend, luke, drove up from manhattan beach for the weekend so we decided to celebrate + treat ourselves by going to benihana for their endless sushi. benihana is more well known for their chefs who cook hot food right in front of you, but on the quieter side of the restaurant they have a great sushi bar with views of the bay.
we sort of went all out and ate more sushi than i thought was humanly possible. although it was called "endless sushi," there was only so much that our stomachs could hold. a real sushi lover's dream.
